How Do I Restrict an Issue Category by Job Role?

If you want to control who can report or view certain Issue Categories, you can restrict an individual category by User or Contacts' Job Role.

To set up or manage this restriction first go to the settings page by clicking the cog icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the portal. (Please note only Wallet Admin Users have access to the settings.)

From the settings page select Issue Categories from within the Issue Reporting section:

Next select the view button next to the category that you wish to restrict:

If you have a draft version of the category click view draft, if not click the blue create draft version button. Once in the draft version, at the bottom of the category information tab you will find the access restrictions dropdown:

You can leave a category with no job role restrictions or you can choose whether to restrict who can create issues of this category, who can view issues of this category or both:

Once you have chosen which restrictions you require you can then select which job roles are allowed:

Once you have selected the job roles that you require you will need to publish your issue reporting category using the green publish button.
