Competency requirements for assets can be used to restrict the allocation of assets to users to contact who don't have particular training, qualification or ID records.
You can set required competencies for your assets so that asset of a particular kind can only be assigned to people with the correct ID, training or qualifications.
To set competency requirements for an asset type, first go into your settings by clicking on the settings cog in the bottom left-hand corner of the portal. (Please note only Wallet Admins can access the settings.) Next select your Asset Types from the settings screen and then click the edit button next to the Asset Type that you want to add competency requirements to.
On the edit Asset Type screen you will find a Required competencies section.
Here, you will see the option to add the Required Competencies. Click the Add requirement button.
You can choose which Identity Document, Training or Qualification a person must have in order to be associated with this asset.
After you have selected your options, save your changes.
These will now show up in your asset type as below.
