How Do I Copy an existing Permit?
Copying permits can be a helpful way to create a new permit for someone that is carrying out the same activity on the same site on a different day.
To copy an existing permit, select 'Permit to Work' from the left-hand navigation menu, it can be found in the 'Heath & Safety' section. This will load the Permit to
Work page. Click the permit reference you would like to copy.
This will open the 'Permit Details' for you to view.
Scroll to the bottom of the permit page. You'll find the option to copy the permit in the bottom-right corner.
Click 'Copy Permit'. This will open a duplicate version of the permit. Fill out the relevant fields, then click 'Create Permit to Work' in the bottom-right corner.
Click 'save draft' after you have made any changes. Once you've created your permit, it will remain in Draft status until it is activated.
